I think the point is, is that these killings go on every single day in Chicago...bu nobody cares....and when an idiot kills children, then everybody want to ban all guns.....

Besides age....a human is a human....no matter if they are a gang banger or a 1st grader....

Did you somehow MISS the part about INNOCENT BYSTANDERS, INCLUDING CHILDREN, being shot and killed in Chicago?

You can get your copies if you want, but it it not required by law. Period. If you want to drag a copy-machine to the gun show parking lot, then that is your business, but I have NEVER seen anyone do that.

The whole point is that it is perfectly LEGAL to buy, sell and trade guns at these events and there is no paperwork requirement for those who don't sell guns for living.

It's apparent that the "community" hasn't been able to change the circumstances. Are you suggesting that the country just turn a blind eye, and only respond when violence occurs in the affluent areas of Chicago?

This is why it's so important to mentor the youth from these communities, during the early stages of their development. Exposing a child to a better way of life allows them to understand that they can live a completely different existence, if they make the right choices in life, and work hard.
But the mentors need to come from the neighborhoods, or else they'll lack street cred. The communities know about the problems. They live in it. So why aren't they mentoring the young boys? Why are so many fathers in poor black communities absent?

Hey, the law is there and in place...if you choose to not obey the law, who am I to say anything...just be ready for what comes with not obeying the law....

Criminals are not the only people dying in Chicago. There are countless children on the Southside who are hit by stray bullets while sleeping in their beds or playing outside. The MSM doesn't cover this, because they don't view it as newsworthy.

Well, the murders in Chicago peaked at around 950 per year in 1990s, and today it is under 450, so it is not as if no progress has been made at all. Chicago PD contacted gang experts from LA and NYC to learn from, and apparently they must have learned something.

Since everything for you revolves around Obama, let's bring that into the equation. Murders dropped from 761 to 450 during his time in IL Senate, - a 40% reduction. What is he......some kind of supercop...?

Roughly 8 out of 10 gun shot victims in Chicago have criminal records. The majority of victims are affililiated with gangs or drugs.
