This is exactly what I've been saying for days. The gangs are the real gun problem and no law will help that. They already use banned FULLY AUTOMATIC .762 AK-47's to gun down innocents daily. Every attempt to go in and get those guns is met with staunch resistance from Liberals screaming about violating those poor kid's rights. Look at how they shut down stop and frisk in NYC. It's above obvious that they only want to go after law abiding gun owners. It's almost as if they WANT the criminal gang element to be armed like they are. Maybe Obama is planning on using them as his personal army...
The south and far western parts of the city are dominated by gangs. Most gun deaths in Chicago are attributed to gang activity. Anything and everything may be viewed as disrespect and therefor murder is the solution. Turf wars and drugs are also huge factors.
Nothing short of a strong and persistent military presence is going to take back these neighborhoods in several major metro areas. Bring the troops home and deploy them to our inner cities. Put tanks in the streets and be ready to move as the targets move.Time to declare war on gangs.

How are you going to know who is a gang member and who isn't? You can't just go into the streets and shoot just anyone. You have to know who the gang members are, and sometimes you have to catch their crimes in the act.
It was sarcasm, but can you figure out why Liberals hate it when police try to get these weapons off the streets? Why do they cry about violating these criminal's rights but have no problem targeting non criminals' rights?

frisk em all and get the illegal guns off the streets. Kick doors in if you have to.
You might want to consider this. "Stop and frisk" can often have racial elements to it. Who gets stopped and frisked more than anyone else, even without looking like a gang member?
Who's doing most of the shooting killing in Chicago? I hope you're aware of the fact that gangs use young kids who are more likely subject to juvie laws instead of being charged as an adult and/or use murder as a gang initiation rite when inducting 12-year-olds, etc.
Of course not, but what's the explanation that Liberals freak out when cities try to get these ILLEGAL weapons off the streets? Why don't they care? I've seen many Left wingers here state that they aren't that concerned about it because they aren't killing a bunch of kids in one shot, although they kill more over the course the year. There is absolutely NO explanation for this type of thinking and inaction.
Even the law-abiding? If you do that, all it will do is provoke anger, and then you will have big problems.
So????? What will they do? Riot? Arrest them then. Will they start shooting? Good, shoot them.
