They would want law abiding civilians to have the most powerful firearms possible on par with the military. This position may seem radical, but this is how much faith these visionaries put in law abiding people, and how little faith they put on those who would impose on life, liberty , and the pursuit of happiness. These people and their like went to war over a little tea tax, and you liberal cuckoos think they would ban assault weapons.
