Because I want to leave the right wingers with the tiny victory of almost getting a Franklin quote right for a change. Usually they just make up stuff that he never said in the first place.

Unlike a lot of people on this forum, I can't channel Ben Franklin. However, there is no evidence that my fellow Pennsylvanian was an anarchist, who believed in an absence of laws. I believe Franklin would be appalled at the idea of a mass murder of six and seven year old children.

I'm sure he would be as well but what does that have to do with the price of apples in China?

Says the person who supports Arizona's "show me your papers " law

So when it comes to the 2nd amendment you are pro bill of rights, but you have no problem gutting the 4th amendment.

I'd gladly frisk a Muslim myself if I could tell him "Hey, I closed down all the CIA compounds/Embassies in your country"... And I am sure he would happily oblige.

We are all appauled at the mass murder of six and seven year olds, but we disagree on what to do about it.. We simply disagree with you, so you have decided that we support the murders.. How big of you..

Why can't you guys ever argue with what people actually say rather than the voices in your own heads?

Thank you. I never said anyone on this forum supported this massacre. However, if you support unfettered access to guns, these types of shootings are going to happen, guaranteed.
