So many didn't know the answer to this one. I wonder which of them voted for Obama without knowing the answer to that question. It took so long for an older woman to be asked the question so somebody could come up with the real answer, but a couple of young people also seemed to have an idea. It is unbelievable, to me, that this many people just couldn't answer that question.
The fiscal cliff is the result of concerted Republican efforts to sabotage the recovery and deny Obana a second term by playing chicken with the debt ceiling and the national credit rating. It failed, so now they are reaping the whirlwind.
They lost the election, lost the support of the American center, and set themselves up to take the blame for any failure in negotiations.

In reality, not many people know the exact components of the fiscal cliff instead they elect a congressman to do any and everything to avoid crises such as this one. In all honesty, I don't believe people would know if we fell of the fiscal cliff, the only thing they'll notice is that there paychecks had gotten a little smaller.

Certainly their pay checks will have gotten a bit smaller. Also, our national debt will be much higher and there still won't be a budget. I wonder if we will ever have a national budget prepared properly if what HDude says is anywhere close to true.
