When the 47% don't pay taxes they are called "deadbeats". When the 1% (like Google Chairman Eric Schmidt) don't pay taxes, "'It's Called Capitalism'. In addition to avoiding paying $2 billion of taxes, the 1%ers love their love their entitlements. Like being able to land, takeoff, and store Google's corporate jets free of charge on United States Air Force Bases. While the ordinary rich people have to pay millions of dollars a year for these services at commercial airports.
America sure is a great country, if you are a billionaire.

Google's chairman says he is "proud" of the way his company avoids paying taxes.
"It's called capitalism," Eric Schmidt told Bloomberg in a Wednesday article. "We are proudly capitalistic. I'm not confused about this."

Google Inc. (GOOG) avoided about $2 billion in worldwide income taxes in 2011 by shifting $9.8 billion in revenues into a Bermuda shell company, almost double the total from three years before, filings show.
By legally funneling profits from overseas subsidiaries into Bermuda, which doesn’t have a corporate income tax, Google cut its overall tax rate almost in half. The amount moved to Bermuda is equivalent to about 80 percent of Google’s total pretax profit in 2011
Well, the 47% of the people take the governments money without giving anything back, but the 1% just doesn't give the government money in the first place.

The rules don't matter. What matters is the government gets enough money to run itself. Otherwise, there will be no rules in the first place.

Come on, they're making what? $20,000, some $14,000, heck $30,000....they could give more of that back to the government(state/federal), right?
