It is merely your opinion why Romney lost and what you call regressive ideas I call the opposite view immorality and anarchy and that is the truth!
What do you want to bet, these lefties will still be talking about the election of 2012 in 2014? Like you, and many of us, even the media (both sides) want to get on with our lives. The election is over, can't the left find other issues..??

The fact that fiscal conservs/socially moderate to liberal types are NOT unique is a large portion of why the wing nuts have put the GOP on the brink of being the Whigs of the 21st century.

The rumors of the death of the Republican Party are somewhat premature...

Default They made their bed..

They let the RWNJ's, Bible thumpers, women haters, would be slavers and other reactionaries take over their party. Now let them suffer the results.

No, I think they're quite common and they control the democratic party.

Hardly. A 24 year average of 203 GOP electoral votes is like a baseball team going 61-101 (same win %) as 203/538, 6 straight seasons.

Add in Latinos who made up 5 million Dem 2012 plurality will double in quantity by 2030, making Texas blue by 2024. Add in Dems have won 19 states 6 straight times that get them 90% of the way to 270, while GOP 6 straighters amass just 70% of the quantity needed.

And the Dems newbies of 2008 and 2012, Va and NM, are likely solid blue long-term, due to NOVA pop growth and Latino votes. That gets Dems past 260.

In short, to win, in the future, unless this 21 state blockade is broken up, GOP must "run the table". Like winning Powerball, the odds against are incredible.

Future David Axelrods can be inept at their task, and still win with ease. It would be like coaching a NBA team with MJ in his prime.

Hmm? Guns were invented in the 12th Century in China. Life began 1000 years ago?

Obama can't run for president in 2016 (thank God!). Only a maximum of two terms per president.
