Would you support sending swat teams door to door to every building in the nation to confiscate all firearms? For homes/businesses who refused to open for them, would you support them breaking down the doors? Do you think such a raid would be successful?
There are countless videos like this one. And while this didn't even occur over a firearms confiscation but a simple traffic stop just magnify everything 1,000 fold and you'll understand why the government will never attempt to confiscate weapon. Such a process will bleed the government of both men and money dry.

Not unless we want repeated Ruby Ridges and Waco's on a Nat'l scale and the
embarrassment that goes along with that.
You know, just like when we know a citizen is out of hand,
folks know when their government is too -
door to door swat teams would be TOP OF THAT LIST.

No. Your premise that the government is coming to take all your guns is just as likely as the buses will be here any minute to load every one of the 15 million illegal immigrants up and drop them off at the Mexican border.
First you get the 2nd Amendment repealed and pass some sweeping new firearms laws. After that is done you make it a felony to be in possession of these guns. The law abiding citizens will turn them in, I would say the vast majority would give them right up. Then you offer big rewards for tips on illegal guns and you search homes with warrants and you put the arrests on national TV. After that another significant amount of people would give up their guns on an amnesty program.
I'm not saying that is what we should do, but that is what we could do.
Well said when you get done with the law abiding citizens your next little one as we dont need you or your vote anymore. and quit looking shocked idiot!

Good lord, I remember all this from Obama's first election ..... all the nuts crawling out of the woodwork claiming that he was going to confiscate everyone's guns and turn the country into a Muslim commie dictatorship.
How did CD manage to attract so many of that type? It wasn't like that in the early days. It was mainly about sharing information about various locations in the US! It's like a buncha those Texas militia forum extremists just came here at one time and plopped their asses down on the sofa. Even ordinary Republicans aren't like this!

No, no, no.
I don't think it is feasible.
