Which do you think would have prevented this incident?

Possibly the outlawing of all guns. The guy might not have known how to get them illegally or had the ability to make those connections. So that would make alot of people happy and that is what they want, a total gun ban.

Yes, that worked out well in Germany in the 30s.

Maybe a law requiring ALL owners of firearms to properly secure their guns, and holding them responsible if their gun was not properly secured, is stolen, and used in a crime.

Because outlawing pot, meth, heroine and cocaine has proven so effective. There is a word for doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
