What idiots. Everyone knows that hurricanes are caused by coal power plants.
>>> The best theory I heard was that they're caused to punish the US for slavery. No joke. Danny Glover had a pretty crackpot theory about earthquakes bring closed by global warming.
God and man get blamed for everything, it seems.
BUT, what if we are right (as I know we are) and you are wrong!
Are you prepared to spend eternity in hell? That's a bet I wouldn't take
on a dare.
Good luck! I hope you figure it out before it's too late.
And what if the Muslims are right and you are wrong? Would you take that bet? Because you are right now. What makes you think your version of god is more correct than theirs? Your geographic location perhaps?
Everyone thinks their vision of god is more accurate than everyone elses. Even individually.
Doesn't give them a license to condemn them. Either side.
The definition of a Christian is some one who follows Christ and his word.
If a person does something that Christ spoke against then they are not a follower of Christ, even if one claims to be.
This isn't some subtle or novel concept, it is what I used to help teach in our first Sunday School class to kinder-gardeners in order to introduce them to Christ. It is not an insult, it is simply a statement of truth. I find it insulting when people attempt to deceive others and I condemn people who tell falsehoods. It is painful to have ones lack of integrity called out, but the fault is the responsibility of the one who lacks the integrity.
What concerns me is how many people claim to be Christian and refuse to follow the word of Christ.

That's for God to decide.
Life didn't stop when Christ died.
And we've moved on.
It's not a bad thing.
How could it be a bad thing?
We've done some amazing things since the days of Christ.
And we'll continue to do amazing things.
Things that God, we hope, will be proud of when we get there.
The fundamental lessons of Christ are found in many people, Christians or not.
And, I'd think, though I have absolutely no idea whatsoever, that those lessons are to be followed whether you are not Christian, or if you are.
The ethics of Christ are solid. And if you follow those ethics, then in my opinion, you're good, regardless of what any other human (which we both are) has to say about it.
Christian or not. Muslim or not.
I won't condemn Muslims. I will condemn questionable ethics.
There is nothing worse than someone who represents Christian ideals doing un-Christian things.
