Me too!! I don't see any mention of "welfare spending" in the Constitution. Feeding the poor is a LOCAL issue.

Isn't that the mantra of "private gains...public loss"? It's served the Walmart empire well.
So why do righties ***** and moan about the Obama administration redistributing their money to the poor.
Because in 2011, total taxes collected by the federal government was 2.3 trillion, 15% of that is 345 billion dollars.
Doesn't include medicare or medicaid though.
