You're right, it was a mistake on both sides that was founded on false information that was provided by the White House.

For example, average tax receipts increased from Clinton to Bush by 26%. Average tax receipts have increased by 0.15% during the Obama administration.

Essentially, you just declared that we have a tax receipt problem. Now you just have to accept it.

Granted, we did have two wars (neither of which I agreed with), but Obama has gone on an unparalleled spending spree with has resulted in massive deficits far beyond those generated by Bush.
Are you purposely ignoring the data that I provided? Spending is not unparallelled under Obama. In fact, spending on goods and services has decreased. Total expenditures have barely increased since the stimulus bill was passed. In fact, federal spending is rising at the slowest pace since Dwight Eisenhower brought the Korean War to an end in the 1950s.
Obama spending binge never happened - MarketWatch

Since fiscal 2009, however, it cannot be denied that spending has increased only modestly. Total federal outlays actually went down 1.7 percent in fiscal 2010, for example, then rose a little more than 4 percent in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30. Spending was projected by CBO to rise less than 1 percent in fiscal 2012. In fact, CBO reported on May 7 in its most recent monthly budget report that spending for the first seven months of the current fiscal year was 3.4 percent below the same period a year ago. That was mostly due to differences in timing of certain payments, but even adjusting for those, CBO figured spending is 0.8 percent lower so far this year.

I am not going to go through all your points, but I will address this one.

5. Social security and medicare eligibility rates must be increased, as citizens are living much longer
People with money are living longer. People who rely upon SS and Medicare the most are not.

Life Expectancy of the Living Dead - NYTimes.com

Essentially, you want to attack old, poor people for a deficits that were primarily caused by the shadow banking industry crashing the global economy, the Bush tax cuts, and our warmongering.

This stance is beyond disgusting. It is unethical, immoral, and perverse.

Do you even know what we spend money on in our country? Do you know what is causing our deficit and increase in debt? It is much easier to blame a generalized thing, but when it comes down to the details it is much harder to point fingers.

LOL @ "left extreme" , when Bush took office, debt was 5.3, when he left it was 10.7( and im not counting the bailouts which Bush had already signed off on).

Truth is, all president spend money, this isnt a "left" idea, its just an idea republicans are all of a sudden for when they are in office and against when they are not. stop fooling yourself man.

6. Closure of non essential foreign military bases
the problem with your argument is that your #5 makes no sense. People seem to forget that You have to finish the equation.

taking the age up to 70 saves the government 5 billion, but cost the government 11.7 billion because those people not able to qualify for medicare will now be able to qualify for other programs. The only way moving the age back would save money is for you to also tell those older people that they are not allowed in all those other programs as well.

You are basically shifting cost, and shifting it to a more expensive place.

#6 seems like a smart option, i dont see why we need bases in Germany and U.K.
