One third of all US murders do not involve fire arms.
You have to be pretty good to throw a bat through a car window and kill someone. Gee, I support gun rights too, but I ain't an idiot. Yes, guns make it easier to kill someone. You could be defending yourself or you could be a homicidal maniac.
The couple was leaving a club and were boxed in. Apparently words were exchanged and someone lived nearby, went home and grabbed their gun. Followed the couple and shot in the car and one of the bullets hit her head. The wife lost her life.

Was the victim within bat swinging distance when suffering her fatal injury?
A duel from 20 paces. You have a choice of a bat or a gun... what do ya choose?
Why are not soldiers armed with baseball bats?
When was the last mass school batting?
Let me tell ya all this. If I have to choose a weapon to defend myself against an aggressor I will take a gun over a bat any day of the week. Don't think I will take my Louisville Slugger deer hunting either.
Article says nothing about why they were shot. Just states they were in an arguement with 2 other cars. Makes no mention of her overtaking a slow driver.
Nothing good happens at 12:30 AM.
Huh?? That's an odd comment, LOL. (says the person who is often driving 100% SOBER after midnight)
First of all, a ban will not require anyone to turn in anything.. It will simply stop the manufacture and new sale of these weapons. Secondly if you think this will have an impact on the number of murders look to the assault weapons ban of the 80's. It had NO impact on the crime rate. Thirdly if you look at the overall statistics, there are less crimes committed with a "assault rifle" than virtually any other fire arm... Your narrative isn't supported by fact.
Your actually expecting folks to make decisions based on facts?

I agree. Both gun rights and the right to abortion are the same thing. Selfish human rights over a sanctity for life.
