it just goes to show how many incredibly stupid people actually expect the government and cops to protect them. the ones that voted no are the ones that protect themselves and have more self reliancy, something that liberals just cannot stand.

I have a shotgun and a bolt rifle and have no problem with the banning of assault rifles since I think it will make this nation a better place. After this latest outrage I question the good will or sanity, or both, of those who resist the outlawing of such weapons. I now think you gotta be evil or crazy to advocate such weapons. I'm sick of the macho posturing too.
What about the other qualifier, the life saved BECAUSE you were armed, or isn't that life as important?

It could also mean that other lives are lost. It could mean that more lives are lost because those who would do such a terrible crime might opt to use a bomb instead.
We keep hearing about the ar-15 which wasn't actually used in the Sandy Hook tragedy. I am for restrictions on mag capacity. I am against punishing law abiding citizens based on the actions of a very few.

So you don't see that once you let the grabbers have rifles they will go after something else and so on down the road. Oh yes, that is how it works. Give them an inch and they will go after a mile.

I have hundreds of firearms and i have a problem with banning any class of firearm. you say assault rifle when you dont even know what one is. liberals say assault rifle because it looks evil and they look idiotic because they do not even know what they are talking about.
plus the fact that you live in chicago, and probably could not have anything to protect yourself in the 1st place. since you live there, put the guns away and let your cops and local politicians help save you.
