I believe it was Diane Feinstein, that played off people's fear about shooting deaths like Newport, calling for all kinds of firearms to become illegal. The NRA just happens to be an organization, that bill would have harmed. NRA defends rights, not play off crisis's, like our federal government does.

The NRA represents the worst in fanatical single issue ideologically extreme special interest groups. They thrive by promoting fear and paranoia. Every massacre of children increases gun sales for their donors. Today at conference, they were distracting public from talking about gun laws by blaming massacre on Hollywood, video games and instead talked about hiring more armed security guards on tax payer's money. An ideal business opportunity to boost more gun sales for their donors! The same right wing propagandizers discourage from talking about stricter gun control, funding mental health programs and ignore bullying that goes in schools and colleges that really do contribute to violence a lot more than movies.
Union?

Gee, don't let your liberal hatred show.

What liberals love they mandate.

I am not a member of the NRA and had no intention of becoming one.. Until now... I think it's time I joined and start supporting the NRA in their efforts to support the constitution.

He's a product of the nanny state, perpetuating the ideologies of the nanny state, and believes every insane thing he says because the nanny state mentality is an illness.

If he doesn't believe in something, then he believes the state has the right to dictate, to pick and choose, to disregard individual rights, and "disband" private enterprise.

What if the state decides:
the NAACP is a subversive group?
all religions should be banned?
all children should become wards of the state?

I don't think he understands the implications of such a disastrous and suppressive ideology.

After six years on these boards, and seeing how degraded the both sides have become... I became a card carrying Libertarian, a TEA party friend, and a dues paying member of the NRA after 30 years of gun ownership.

The gun grabbers in here are the best advert for the NRA.

Congratulations you silly rights trouncing constitution hating vile little progressives, you've exploded the NRA's power! Newton's third law in action.

In order to wipe out this mental illness we need to take back education, which we are doing..

Wow! That is quite an accomplishment.

Why do you think the NRA is so successful?

Blaming a video worked for Obama and HRC.

Nj has very strict gun control. Most of the murders are gang related and clustered around Jersey city, newark, et al. Apparently the strict gun laws have zero impact on the greatest source of gun violence.

Any other suggestions?

Funny how a one off incident gets repeated. Could it be the same dog named Sam is talking to several people at once or could it be the media providing too much information to create a 'how to' guide for the less imaginative wannabe killers?

Is the NRA gun safety program being given in your local schools? If not you should contact the NRA and get the information on Eddy the Eagle program and hand it to your school board. There is soemthing you can do.

Reality, facts, logics, and reason all have no effect on the Gun Grabbers...They are driven by envy, fueled by pure emotionalism...
