And what reality is that? That almost all people who own firearms would just hand all of them over whenever someone comes to the door asking for them? There are a quite a few million people in the U.S. with firearms. Now I don't profess to speak for all of them, but since I am one, I can tell you what I, and quite a few thousand of the people I live near would say. Can you?

Congress of course won't do anything. They may try and push this nonsensical assault ban back which will do nothing. So will dear leader fill the void and try and save the day for all the gun grabbers everywhere? The orders are already in place for him to declare a national emergency and impose martial law on the country. All this would be for the children too. The stars are aligning for the totalitarians to rise up.
