Here's a heart warming story about a mother who shot an intruder 5 times while protecting herself and her children. Yes, unfortunately, he survived. Talk about the need for higher capacity mags....This piece of crap was arrested 6 times since 2008. A model citizen I'm sure....

This is still a free country, you have the right to arm yourself with a GUN! if you feel threatend.
Thats the great thing about the 2nd amendment.

Veiled threats? Eh? Get a gun, if you're so threatened. This world is no place for people afraid of violence.

No graphs, but best estimates list about 300,000,000 privately owned guns in the USA. In comparison, about 12,000 gun related deaths occurred. So, 99.996% of guns did not kill anyone last year...

And those damned stats also show that about 60% of all gun related deaths are suicides. The remaining percentage of gang related shootings is significant. The other results are truly minor in comparison to our large and urban-oriented populations and we also are willing to trade the inevitable results of letting nut cases roam our streets freely, with our other key rights of freedom. Perhaps it's better that way than to live as they do in Australia, Canada or Britain, where they don't value freedom as we do.

Tell me otherwise, liberals!

I'm sorry, I stopped reading after "12,000 gun related deaths". Did you say something else?

Looks like I was wrong, it's only 8,583 and trending lower every year.
