Lets add a few more reasons why Obama is phony.

-Against warrantless searches. Lulz.

-Against signing statements based on his core principles and the fact that they are "unconstitutional", except that he does them fairly often.

1) Obama in 2008 broke his public financing pledge. He became the first presidential candidate to do this since the 1972 election. What is telling is that when he made the pledge he talked of higher values as the reason - until he realized he could crush McCain in raising money.

2) Obama "mischaracterized" the circumstances of his mother's death to gain political points on the healthcare debate. When he was called out for it, he ignored the criticism and then doubled down on the lie. How could a son, acting as a lawyer for his mom, forget the circumstances of his mother's death? Even the Washington Post, which is known to be more left leaning gave him 3 out 4 Pinocchios for the "mischaracterization."

3) "Candidate Obama" promised to allow 5 days of public comment before signing bills. On his very first bill he broke the promise and has broke it for over 90% of the bills he has signed into law - proving that he never intended to keep this promise.

4) In 2008 Obama promised to reduce earmarks to 1994 levels by veto if necessary -- tough talk from "candidate Obama" -- no vetoes and earmarks have risen.

5) In 2008
Obama called Bush unpatriotic for allowing the national debt to grow nearly 5 Trillion on his 8 year watch to roughly $10 Trillion. Today the national debt is at $16.3 Trillion and soaring.

6) Obama said that he would go through the budget "line by line" and reduce waste - enough said.

7) Obama said that he was not only
against a mandate for health care, but that a mandate would be foolish. Then he was for it a couple months later after months of railing against it.

8) "2012 Obama" called out Newt Gingrich for going to a gas station with media cameras and talking about how we can lower gas prices. Obama said Gingrich was being a gimmicky politician going out to a gas station with cameras. Except
Barack Obama on Gas Prices, in Indianapolis - YouTube"2008 Obama" did exactly what Newt did.

9) "2007 Obama" said that we all know candidates can tell their PACs to stop dirty ads when John Edwards PAC smeared him. To "2007 Obama" it is common sense and a point of decency. However, 2012 Obama says that he can't ask his PACs to stop dirty ads against Romney in regards to outright lies about Romney letting a girl die of cancer. So much for transformational politics. Remember when President Obama condemned negative PAC ads? « Hot Air

10) Obama promised to end no-bid government contracts above $25K. Still going strong.

11) Obama promised to not have lobbyists in the White House. Broke it in his first month and continues to break it more and more every day.

12) Obama has flipped so many times on so many issues regarding coal that he was literally running two conflicting coal ads in the 2008 primary based on whether or not you were in a coal state.

13) "Candidate Obama" said it was illegal for a president to go into military action (unless it was an immediate national emergency) without a vote from congress - Libya he deliberately avoided a vote.

14) Obama said specifically it would be illegal for him to go forward with the Dream Act if congress rejects it. After even the Democratically controlled senate rejected it, he went forward with it anyways.

15) Obama is for gay marriage when he is running out of a liberal Chicago district --- instantly switches against gay marriage when he is running a statewide election to be a US Senator --- and flips flops a second time back to his 1st position when it will energize his campaign.

16) Obama says the healthcare mandate is a tax, and is not a tax, but clarifies that it is a tax - but not really. The Individual Mandate

17) Obama claimed in 2010 that "we are on the way to cutting the deficits in half" -- fulfilling his 2008 promise to do so by 2012....except the deficit was rising and not shrinking and is still over a trillion. CBO makes it offficial

18) Obama pretended to not know what the national debt number was during the week that it surpassed 16 Trillion - if you think he sincerely didn't know that makes him a bigger phoney.
On Letterman, Obama says he can't remember the national debt - YouTube

19) Obama promised to let medical marijuana alone - then picked up raids on them far outpacing GWBush's raids on them.

20) Obama vowed premiums would go down - they are up.

21) "2008 Obama" said presidents only use executive privilege when they have something to hide and called on Bush to reverse his executive privilege...Obama has used it on Fast and Furious, which some say is responsible for over 300 deaths in Mexico and a US border agent.

22) Obama said he didn't mislead on the Libya attacks...does anyone still believe that he didn't mislead the public about what he knew and when based on this fact check timeline? FactCheck.org : Benghazi Timeline I can't blame him for misleading on Libya - it could have cost him the election, but it does speak to whether or not he is some run of the mill politician.

23) Arguably comes off as a phoney White Sox fan here: [dailymotion]xcvbql_obama-can-t-name-any-chisox-players_sport[/dailymotion]Obama Can't Name Any ChiSox Players? - Video Dailymotion

24) Against the Patriot Act - then extends it and has more power than GWBush on it.

I would like to see him fulfill some of his promises.
Wow, you put a lot of time and effort into this. Have you updated your Resume recently? because anyone that spends this much time on a post surely must not have either a TV or a job.

I think it's because he is not really in charge. From what we have seen over the past four years, Obama comes off as just an empty suit. He was read the riot act when he was sworn in, told to just make speeches, fund raise, do his classic community organizer shtick, to demonize the left's political opponets, and to promote the Democrat agenda.

This can explain why he never knows anything, about anything, because others are running things, and he is just a figurehead. This also explains why the promises he made, that a lot of us agreed with, have been broken, and are laying scattered on the ground at his feet; candidate Obama wanted to do those things, but he is not in charge, and the Democrat establishment is running things.

It all goes back to the Obama paradox, either he is a bumbling fool, and is ignorant and oblivions to everything going on around him, or he is in charge, does know what is going on, and he is a liar, a deceitful, heartless, vengeful, partisan hack, who is using government to punish his political and ideological enemies, and rewarding his friends and cronies, while driving our economy into the ground.

I have a job.

You have 3,477 posts, perhaps you don't have a job using your own logic?

You attack me and not my argument, because you are an intellectual coward and lightweight.

Perhaps you should be mad at Obama for being a phony instead of me for pointing it out.

And it's not like it's difficult or anything.
