At least John Kerry had the GUTS to actually go into Vietnam and not dodge the draft like Dick Cheney !!!

We would never have lost 5000 American soldiers lives in Iraq if it weren't for draft dodging chickenhawks like Dick Cheney ... who did everything possible to avoid Vietnam himself ... but was one of the main people responsible for getting the US into the war in Iraq!

And then there's GWB ... who managed to get a cushy stateside military assignment ... so he would never be sent into Vietnam! It's great having a father with political pull!

John Kerry knows about war FIRST HAND ... and THAT is they type of person that should be negotiating with foreign leaders .... not someone who's only foreign experience is from attending college classes in political science!

You can't make this stuff up.
But apparently what you can make up is heroic service in wartime, as the men who actually served with Kerry said he did not deserve those decorations. Not just one guy who may have had a grudge against him, but multiple people.

So instead of framing this as Republicans attacking Kerry for being a war hero, why don't you show some intellectual honesty and say they attacked him for misrepresenting his service.

Whether he did misrepresent it or not is a debatable point. But saying Republicans attacked him for being a decorated soldier is just flat out false.

This is a flat out lie.

Of the 250 "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" almost none of them ever actually served with Kerry. Of those who actually served in Kerry's boat crew, only Stephen Gardner joined SBVT, and he was not present on any of the occasions when Kerry earned his medals, including his Purple Hearts. Not a single members of SBVT were aboard Kerry's boat during any of the incidents for which he was decorated. The only member of SBVT who was actually present for the events after which Kerry was awarded the Silver Star, Larry Clayton Lee, praised Kerry's tactics and agreed completely that he deserved his Silver Star.

It is a complete lie to assert that " the men who actually served with Kerry said he did not deserve those decorations."

John Kerry also knows firsthand about dodging taxes while publicly advocating for higher taxes. And that is the type of person who should not be the face of our nation in negotiating with foreign leaders.

Exactly as I said.

Again however, he was not present on any of the occasions when Kerry earned his medals, including his Purple Hearts.

That makes about as much sense as a nursery rhyme.
