Flag burnner John Kerry has been selected by Barack Obama (who, along with Hilary Clinton caused the death of 4 Ameircans, including our Ambassador, in Benghazi) for Secretary of State.

Prior to his Presidential aspirations, John Kerry is perhaps best known for his anti-war activities, in which, among other things, he accused American troops of atrocities. He demanded Purple Hearts for self inflicted scratches, and also finagled Bronze and Silver Stars.

This reminds me of the 2004 election year, when right-wingers tried to diminish Kerry's service record in Vietnam. Three purple hearts, a bronze star, and a silver star--and they attacked him for it.

Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld combat experience = 0

You can't make this stuff up.

He was nominated by a president who didn't hold his hand over his heart during the National Anthem, and was still elected, so no surprise there. Besides, he's a better choice than Susan Rice.

Yeah he loved those medals so much he kept em too and tossed some other guys over the white house fence in protest. He stomped on his fellow service members to launch his political career.

Yes, while Kerry was "finagling" his bronze and silver stars, Bush/Chaney/Rumsfeld were "finagling" their way out of the armed forces.

Yeah, how dare those Vietnam Veterans who served with Kerry actually tell the truth about him!

It's not good to submit yourself for an award in the military. Soldiers and sailors who do this are usually opportunistic jerks only looking out for themselves. And getting a Purple Heart for scratches is an insult to everyone who got the Purple Heart for real combat injuries. But that's OK. At least Kerry knows our nation only has 50 states. Not 57 and one more to go.

I guess Kerry could have applied for, and received, five draft deferments during the Vietnam era, like Cheney. Then he would have been a true patriot. Or maybe he could have swung a cushy gig with the TX national guard instead of fighting, like Bushy, leapfrogging past better qualified men in the process. Much more heroic than, you know, fighting for your country in Vietnam.
