This must be why they don't take issue with being arrogant, self-centered hypocrits.

EVERYONE? You mean all those folks on welfare, in section 8 housing, living below the poverty level, and the middle class family who are barely making ends meet... can send their kids to a guarded school? That is a new one on me.

They need to put an armed cop in every public school. This would be a cheap solution that has proven to work for decades.

Family of President needs security and its good that they have guards. Even ex-president George W Bush must be having security.

Do you believe that 20 1st graders and their teachers in Newtown, CT did not need security?

Sad we need them, but there ya are.
Virginia Tech University had campus police also - but they weren't able to stop Cho.

On elementary and secondary school campuses - the faculty should be allowed to carry concealed.

On college campuses both the faculty and students should be allowed to carry concealed.

Otherwise - these tragedies will continue to occur.

Right now there is nothing to deter a would be shooter from carrying out a massacre.

Sure. They'll have to choose between being a welfare recipient or having a good paying job to get there... You can't have it both ways.

Then let the people in Newtown pay for that security.

But if guns don't protect people from harm, why does anyone need armed security?

Homeschool the two girls. There's plenty of teachers looking for work and leaves eleven gun toters looking for work. Should make *******s ecstatic. And David Gregory can find his own protection for his kids.

That was as stupid as anything I've heard from the right. That's like saying "everyone has the choice of being wealthy" as if it's that easy. By this logic, all we need to do is tell all poor people "go get some money!" Basically your statement is a contradiction to itself, because only the wealthy have access to guarded schools. I'm guessing that you are/were one of those.
