oh yeah it's ok livingenzyme a lot of people don't understand sex offenders, because mainly there are so many different types. what you hear in the paper is the worst of the bunch. as you have shown recidivism of sex offenders to re-offend sexual is very low compared to other crimes. sadly that number is still too high. should be 0%, but people are stupid.
the thing about this thread is to discuss how the system can be changed to keep recidivism lower, and not create collateral damage on both sides. there's an ongoing battle between offenders, victims and their sympathizers. offenders think the laws are too tough, which isn't necessarily true, and the victims who think the laws are not tough enough.
why do i fight? as you can tell i really don't care what people think of me, as they can put me down. most of the time i'll agree to what they say. now some people may not believe this but i do care about what happens to the children of sex offenders. how they are treated in school, how they get isolated, and how they are being hurt.
It's funny how both my bf and I have no inclination to have biological kids of our own, even though we both have good careers and have absolutely no inclination to commit any crime. We've decided to adopt adopt adopt.
And then there are criminals, ex cons, the long term jobless, etc who keep pumping them out.
My solution for the children of sex offenders is simple. If you've committed a crime, don't have kids.

that's the problem. some offenders had children before they offended. yes i know they didn't think of anyone but themselves. you know how many kids i have? none. the world is getting over populated as it is. there is actually research that is being done on fresh drink-able water, and how we are running out, because of over population.

totally agree. i have some friends who are on unemployment; who are not even looking for a job. they say it's too hard. lulz. the thing is.... they make the max amount and any job that are available to them are below what they are making from sitting on their butts.
