What are you talking about? EITC has been raised from two qualifying children to three. It's easier to claim exemptions on children in 2012.

Yea I looked after I posted... there is nothing that points to it being reduced at all. I thought it was raised to 3 a while ago.

Earned income credit is only 2.

No, the EITC cap has been raised to three children from the 2009 tax year...

EDIT: And ARRA changes will keep that in effect through the 2012 tax year...

I've heard (1) they're lazy and (2) they pop out more kids to get more tax deductions and thus larger tax refunds.
