Utah is the next state that is doing the right thing and allowing educators to undergo hours of gun training at no charge. I hope this becomes a ongoing trend that sweeps the nation in order to prevent lives from being taken on school grounds by armed assailants. You have to give the Utah Shooting Sports Council credit for making this happen free of the $50.00 charge for classes. It's time to teach the teachers to become 'expert marksman'.

Utah ranks 41 out of 50 for education, maybe they should be training their teachers to teach better.

Bingo, but why should they care about education when they treat them like glorified babysitters.

If you`re a kid that can`t get a gun at home you know you can always disarm that 110lb. English teacher. Stupid idea.

Great. Arm the teachers to plan for an event that has a 0.0001% (that's a real statistic) chance of occuring in any given year. And then when the crazies start lobbing grenades into schools because the teachers are armed, we'll build all schools like prisons with watchtowers, 20 foot walls and machine gun turrets.

Simple, make teachers be the first targets to begin with....but then again, you are acting like school shootings happen daily in our country.
