While discussing his role in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film, Django Unchained, Jamie Foxx makes this comment:
Quote:
I kill all the white people in the movie. How great is that?
|
I can't wait to hear from the loony left that there is nothing at all wrong with this statement, and their arguments claiming that Foxx's comment is "not racist".
Quote:
"People are just people. But they can turn into veritable monsters when -- as a great American once warned -- they look to the color of our skin rather than the content of our character."

Jeeze, people are so sensitive these days. It's not like he ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, disagreed with the president or wore an American Flag T-Shirt to school or anything.

I don't watch many movies. Foxx's comment has made me somewhat intrigued. Maybe that was the point.
Only a black actor like Foxx can get away with making racist comments - and portray them as "marketing" - even if it works.

Yes, he can get away with it. What do you think that says about our society?

I saw the interview where he made this comment, and it was evident that he was joking from the context of the conversation. Are you seriously getting bent out of shape over the comments made by the star of a movie that has been described as a mix between a spaghetti western and a blaxploitation film?
Sorry, but if you find this insulting or racist you need to reset your sensitivity levels. As for whether or not Foxx is racist, who cares? He's an actor, not someone that I would encourage anyone to look up to as a role model.

Free speech.
However I look forward to the same hollywood elitist who are trying to limit private gun ownership, to come out and denounce the comment

lol, yep, loves white women but can't hold his own against white men so he would like to do away with them.
I wonder what would happen if a white Hollywood star said something like "put them all on an island". People would be jumping out of their skin.
