God sees from beginning to end and hate never was a successful way to advance any race.
Herman Cain had to shut his mouth and retract his statements on that N word ranch thing that Rick perry used to attend in Texas, as a black man.

Don't start with your nonsense, you have no leg to stand on.

You know not what you speak of. Their are poor in every race.

So you believe your pigment in your skin dictates what you will become. Look around you and see many in ALL races can become a success in life. We are all created in God's image and that no one can take that gift from any person born.
Never said that. I did say that whining about things like AA is a big laugh when the reason why that program is needed will never be admitted to by the ones who whine about it. Any White person who doesn't admit the born advantage that being White gives them is either clueless or know it and want to keep it that way. Only White Liberals will admit this truth. I have never heard a White Republican admit to or be outraged by a case of racism. I have seen them become very angry at the victims of racism but never the racist.

As an old white retired military guy, I honestly don't remember getting special treatment growing up, but I guess that depends on how you define special. Reading this thread reminds me that we all have our prejudices. If I'm honest, there must have been hundreds of times when a white person treated me a little better than they would have treated a black man. Not because they were openly racist, but because they saw a little of themself in me just like many black folks see a little of themselves in President Obama. Every time I drive into town, I pass poor neighborhoods that are mostly black and I thank God I don't live there. I don't like it when black folks seem to be angry with me just because I was lucky enough to be born white, but only a fool would expect the people who live in those run-down neighborhoods to be satisfied with their lot.

Where did he get the 5K? How many Black high paid Supervisors were there in 1950? How many Blacks in the banking industry? You have been building wealth for centuries now. Much of that wealth was built on our backs. Cant you admit that? What was your first job and what experience did it give you to build on.

Ask any Black guy how many times he was told you don't have the experience even for entry level jobs. I see it working even now. White kids my kids graduated with got jobs right off the bat with titles like Assistant manager and so forth. Those titles mean something down the road.

We do not get the same breaks or credit for work as you and you know it.

He got the 5k somewhere in between dropping out of high school and finally purchasing his first house @ 42...

in between that he had developed a great cocaine addiction (now recovered) from the benefits of white privilege and a very lenient judge that granted him "white privilege" that put him in a maximum security prison for 4 years (early release) for a non violent crime. Of course, if he was black...he would have been buried under the jail, right? (because we all know blacks just don't get released from prison...they are there forever )

How many blacks are in the banking industry??? I don't know.. and I don't care.. Do you know? banking professionals are very behind the scenes for a reason. One of them is because they rob people blind daily. I don't know what you are getting at besides the fact you want more blacks in the most corrupt institution in the world.

again....remember that 47% White and 16% Black total population disparity again? <-- Want to address that?

I don't care whose back this country was built on... yours wasn't one of them

I have asked many black people many things... but none of them a stupid question like "How many times have you been told you don't have experience for a job". Because why would I do that? I've been told that plenty of times. That's just part of life.

Again, at what point do you come to the realization that blacks are "equal" in society? What is a defining moment in your own perspective? When there are as many black people holding office as white? When there are as many black people that are CEO's and bankers as there are whites?

If that was right now... I hate to break it to you... that would be an unequal society. Because with an American population that has a ratio of about 5:2 white to black.... Equal power in office, in banking and other positions of power would by systemically unequal!!!

So, please.. tell me what is your vision? Without posturing with phantom "intangibles" or trying to pass off your perception as fact.

Thats my point. Many are not openly racist but react differently to the same needs or behavior of young people. Thats were these most hated programs come in. There will come a day they are not needed, that day is not today.

Blacks can be and some are racist but we don't have the power to harm that Whites do. If someone White is being discriminated against I hope they bring down all involved and make them pay out the @$%. A racist is a terrible person no matter their color.

What is your definition of black privilege?

And if an employer "preferred" to hire a white person, that is a HUGE thing. It is not something small to dismiss.

These poor white people of whom you speak: How are they doing in comparison to the black population in their regions?

The concept of "white privilege" usually applies (and has the most effect) when races live amongst each other. Using Appalachian Americans as an example that white privilege doesn't exist doesn't quite wash.

This attitude might be a part of the problem. Not sure how you meant this, but it comes off really bad.

Default Wow

So all I had to do is admit I was "black" and I would have benefited from it???
Wish I was getting a free ride and my butt kissed But alas, I am only an American, and a Texan at this time. But I might have to look into this, maybe that is why I haven't been called back for jobs and declined on so many other things; those jobs had enough humans and needed "blacks"
