Left wing fascist scum. Clueless, dogmatic ideologues who foul the air by their very presence in the land of the free.

Just because something is legal doesn't mean that it should be done.

These names may be public record but normally a person needs to search for them to know the details.

The paper is putting the information right out there, and for nefarious reasons.

I don't. Changes from society and technology will. We live in a global world where social media and technology has transformed the speed of information and news at speeds previously never thought of. While I don't think the usefulness of the gun will go away in that regard it will just become less of a "weapon" as more useful weapons against oppression and tyranny.

Of course it always will. But the framers couldn't predict the gap between a developed country's military, much less our own country's, and even the most well armed citizen.

As has already been pointed out, what's so nefarious about it? I thought gun owners were proud of their guns. This way, if burglars are avid newspaper readers, they know which homes not to target.

It sure makes it a lot more convenient for the criminals. Now they know where to go to steal the guns (the places on the list), and where to go to rob (the places NOT on the list). You have to wonder what the people in New York are thinking. (I'd be thinking it was time to move).

I thought owning a gun protected you from robberies.

great, so you've got nothing to worry about if you're identified in the newspaper as a gun owner.
