Wrong...

Nobody..ever.. kicks away free stuff... EVER..

Those you call right wing nuts are right. This spending is unsustainable, but as long as the government can give it, it will give it, and as long as people can take it, they will take it.

Having said that, there is an end to this and the day it comes, unfortunately, they will forget how corrupt the GOP also is and vote them in. We are not too far off..

Our society has become a group of free loaders that have the balls to open their mouths even when they are getting free handouts courtesy of the pockets of the middle class.

It's sad when socialism is en vogue... sad...

lol - I agree with you urban and completely disagree with you.
The problem has been that we have Democrats and Democrat Light (otherwise known as Republican).

The resurgence of libertarian-ism and respect for the Constitution is the emerging leadership in the Republican party. It will either establish itself or we will continue down the path of debt and irrelevance we are currently on.

You do know the middle class is the biggest voting block in our country right?

Libertarians will continue to be ignored by the Republicans except during election season when they try to court your vote by pretending to be for "small government."

Yesterday and today are a clear picture of what we have in government. The Liberals are claimed to be saviors "save the economy" while conservatives are demonized for wanting to be fiscally prudent.

What a bunch of hypocrites our media is, calling the destroyers saviors and the saviors destroyers.

There is only one party left, the reckless spenders.
I agree. I would never vote for a DemocRAT. I gave up that "drug" in the mid-80s.

I don't think so.
Romney lost in large part (imho) because the Republicans turned their back on us.

I voted for Romney, I really did like his message concerning small business.
I took some ribbing from many of my political buddies who either wrote in Ron Paul, voted for Gary Johnson or abstained.

I think the lesson is The Republicans can't win without us.
They'll try to pander to the immigrant vote but think about it - that is a losing strategy.

We need to cut entitlements and pandering to a group that are here for the entitlements without contributing to the system (illegals) will not help us. Now if they got immigration reform right, which is possible but I believe highly improbable, that could work.

We'll see what happens.

Yes and they are also the proud owners of handouts to the wealthy, handouts to the poor, handouts to the banks, handouts to the home owners, etc...

Not only that, their earnings (which rarely increases year over year) is continuously devalued thanks to the government spending programs, which is essentially equivalent to counterfeiting. Oh, and that's not all folks, you know all those pesky middle class savings? (I mean who needs them ah?)

Well i got great news!!! The government has decided savings (including those of seniors) are for wimps. The devaluation of the currency (bailouts, etc) will take care of re-distributing "stealing" that from the middle class and funnel it to the groups mentioned above (wealthy, unions, banks, etc).

It doesn't matter to anyone, it is clear to me that everyone will keep drinking cool-aid until a collapse of some sort. Nobody can look at me in the eye and they care when they clamor for more spending, they are not being sincere at all. When the collapse comes, please do not blame it on the "right wing nuts",l blame it on liberals like yourself.

Voted Dem always up till Obama in 2008 and have NEVER voted for GOP. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

Look at tonight's vote. If you keep voting for anyone of the two parties, you deserve what you get.

Republicans = Democrats

It probably doesn't occur in your altitude, but there are things about being a member of a poltical party more than just voting (including at primaries). I won't donate anymore, or work on the occasional campaign. Plus there is a message sent by dwindling membership roles.

Now head on back to Insanity 101 - your students are waiting!!
