You bring up an interesting point which is why I didn't vote for him twice.
(imho - which I know is probably different than many here) I thought Obama stayed with the 'bad' policies of Bush and never implemented the 'good' policies I felt he promised.
Some of my major issues with both of them
- their spending is not sustainable
- the military occupation of sovereign nations is immoral and bad for America (fiscally & socially)
- Both presidents gutted our constitutionally protected rights
I was furious with Obama for extending the patriot act and passing the NDAA (indefinite detainment).
I am equally furious with Obama for continuing our illegal occupation of Middle Eastern Countries and (again imho) pandering to Muslims domestically.
I feel Obama's mid-east policies have failed miserably and the middle east is literally going up in gunfire and flames.
I'm disappointed in our luke-warm support of Israel.
I don't understand the class warfare rhetoric and what appears as animosity towards American Business - scares me.
I don't like corporatism but I think Obama and Bush both pandered and pander to big business but Obama is cutting the throats of small business and placing a huge tax burden squarely on the middle class.
I wonder what others think of my concerns.
I would appreciate other opinions and perspectives and I don't believe I magically am right and everyone else is wrong. Hopefully people can share what
they think and why and how it differs from what others think.
Hopefully we can refrain from telling others what we think of them for what they think but point out where and why they think they may be mistaken.
