Just checked it out..snopes says this is true and also provides another Cabela's receipt.
Seems the IRS definition of what constitutes a "medical device" is very very blurry.

It's supposed to be a tax paid by the producers of medical devices.
Cabela's is not even in the same industry...

Did anybody think this tax wouldn't be passed on ?
Specifying just why there is an increase in price lets the consumer know just where this one came from so lovers of "Obamacare" can get one more little hint that it ain't gonna be free.
