Just goes to show that mass shootings are more likely in countries with lots of guns floating around, than in countries with fewer guns.

Apparently the Swiss shooter had been drinking heavily.

Guess it's better to defend yourself with a knife against an attacker and get cut and possibly bleed out slowly while defending yourself, like in Britain. It's kind of like NHS: so long as you're not sick, it works great.

You don't have to craft it, you can buy ammo at the shooting range, and the government even subsidizes it. You just have to use it at the range, and not take it with you. Remember with their violent crime being as low as it is, the citizens don't feel the need to be armed to teeth to defend against criminals. They buy guns because they like to shoot targets.

You actually believe that Swiss citizens don't pocket or otherwise manufacturer their own and stow it away without saying anything to the Swiss gov't? I got a bridge to sell you.

For their military rifles? I doubt many Swiss do that.

You can buy other ammo pretty much anywhere, so why would you want to manufacture illegal ammo, and use your military issue rifle illegally? It would be pointless.
