I would have a much better chance of surviving if a crazed man went after the audience in a movie theater where I was if he went after us with a hammer instead of a rifle!

But, if he has a pistol, rather than a rifle....there is a about a 5000% higher chance that you don't make it....

Why cannot lefties understand this?
The "stats" on which this thread is based is comparing RIFLES only to any blunt object used as force. Can you provide a study which compares the murders by ALL guns with hammers? I would be interested in those stats.

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzz wrong, it is telling you how many people were killed with each object, there is no comparison, just facts.....and the facts are, in 2011, 6000+ people were killed with a pistol, in 2011 350 people were killed with the dreaded "black rifle."
And you say this based solely on the number of homicides by each method?
I know that people can lie with statistics, but you should try to do it a little more effectively.
Well, what would you say then? If you have numbers, (which some on here have a hard time understanding) and the first number is 6000+ and the next number is 350ish.....
Which one do you think has the higher kill rate?
It's not that hard....
