The truck haters can kiss my white butt.
Fair enough, but I never said I hate trucks. I just don't get why people drive them unless they're "compensating for something" as the old saying goes...or they have a Napoleon complex going on. One or the other.

If you're comfortable driving a truck, more power to you. Just enjoy paying more for gas.

Real men drive trucks!
That's true. Don't see many fake men similar to Barbara Streisand in the film Yentl or Hillary Swank in Boys Don't Cry driving trucks around these parts... Although who knows, they could be well-disguised.

A working man (works with his hands ) is likely to be driving a truck.
A milk toast pencil pusher however, that drives a truck, is only doing it to look like he does something other than push pencils for a living.(and some actually do.
I know women that drive truck and tractor trailer and dump trucks too.
Best way to know a phoney from the real thing is the condition of the bed .
If it's pretty as the day it was bought ,the truck is a sports car.
If the bed has a different tail gate than the original painted a differet color , there is no paint left in the back of the truck and the dents out number the natural configuration of the bed . He is an animal . Especially if the camper that he has for it is a press fit.
I drive a 1967 3/4 ton cheve PU when I have to haul somthing besides me.
99% of the time I ride a yamaha V Star 650 every where I need to be .
I have 2 campers One's a shell the other and over head . And I have a number of trailers including boats I haul as well.
I hunt and fish ,did search and rescue as well as many other out door activities.
I respect women that earn it ,and enjoy teaching kids and adults how to do things.
I don't horse around or drink, nor company with those that do.
I like all animals and being in the wild with them .
I like all foods but egg plant .
Is that man enough ?

I'm tore between my 2500 with da Cummins, or the Cuda with da Hemi.

My wife drives a P/U truck..... She can't stand to drive a car. She feels trapped.

What are we talking about again?

We have the store employees deliver it to our houses. Just about every establishment does this now. We could also rent a vehicle on the rare occasion where it is necessary.

Unless you're in some sort of a line of work like construction or have a hobby like horse riding, trucks are, more often than not, less practical than alternative vehicles.

Also, a real man is one who selects transportation vehicles based on practical need and financial efficiency rather than frivolous "primma donna" image grooming.
