Ones own race and circumstance is no place for a racist to hide behind, we can see right through it.
Your race is an evil as any other, and just as capable of bigotry.
Segments of our race are capable of Bigotry , but pure racism must come with oppression of the race " that the race with the superior technology dislike " the oppression ingredient is what missing in Black or African American Racists.

I would just point out the definition of racism "a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race".

i think howie would prefer his own made-up definition
Charter schools are a good resource, but they will not solve the education problem in the US. All Americans, regardless of race, have developed poor parenting skills. My sister is a teacher and sees it all the time. Parents who are dis-engaged from their child's education have children who generally do poorer in school. Are there some who overcome this? Sure, but the vast majority dont.
Do NOT put both types of students in the same classes. The ones who can excel are severely hindered and very possibly irreparably harmed by the one-size-fits-all dumbed-down classes.

Well if Blacks felt superior to Whites wouldn't they try to " oppress " them I'm talking about Caucasian ?

But why do we put those who want to excel in classrooms with those who couldn't care less?

Because educators don't think it's "fair" if some students achieve at higher levels than others. The "equal outcomes" philosophy that has decimated student achievement in the U.S. has been the overriding policy in U.S. education since the 1960s. Much more on that in this 1991Atlantic magazine article written by a college prof. Pay particular attention to the The Incubus Of The Sixties and The Shock Of College-Level Demands subsections. The problem is if you go into any lab or hospital or university or research facility and you see very few blacks it is apparently because of racism.
Since racism is bad we must end the racism of not enough blacks in math and science.
The personal responsibility of black parents and the behavior of the children and a low priority on education has very little to do with it.
Racism can explain why there aren't enough African-Americans choosing to study engineering, physics, chemistry and mathematics.
This is the biggest load of B.S. I have ever seen on this forum. Parenting has everything to do with it, parents encourage and inspire kids to enroll in these types of programs and racism has nothing to do with it, no one is holding anyone back. If they were being stopped from enrolling, then I would say yes it might be racism. It might be lack of interest or the fact that they are not smart enough, I mean you cannot make a silk purse from a sows ear. Perhaps it is the lack of many 2 parent households in the black community.
I've seen his resume, I see two engineering degrees, the actual diploma in his house. He's my father and you are asking "how do I know"? He's my father, he tells me about this stuff. I've seen some of the jobs he has applied for. He has a masters degree and has been in the engineering field since the late 1970s.
Ok, maybe I was mistaken about your father.
Maybe in a particular job he was not as qualified as the next guy, maybe the next guy had more time in the field, who knows?
