It's also thought to be very underreported, the reason for reluctance in reporting has been well established by the juvenile demeaning comments made on this very thread.

I was so naive I didn't even realize there were "kinds".
Because it's a fact. It is important for men to understand that they can be taken advantage of, that people will believe them if they report the crime and that it does not make them any less masculine to say they were assaulted by a female criminal.
Why are you so dead set against accepting fact and reality?
A man can be assaulted, not raped. To say a man can be raped confuses the role of men and women.
The same reason a woman can have a baby and a man cannot. We have to stop pretending the sexes are interchangeable.
