Bloomberg wasn't a loyal Republican, he isn't a loyal democrat. Bloomberg is loyal only to his inflated sense of self importance.

The NYC teachers union is a despicable organization. For almost forever, only 0.3% of teachers were fired in a given year. Hundreds of teachers sat in the "rubber room" while they were under investigation waiting for a ruling on whether they would be fired or retained. Paid the whole time.

Regardless of Bloomberg and the NRA, his criticism of the teachers union is deserved.

Yes,a the NRA is a positivie contributer to America, and the Teacher's Unions detract, by hiding and shielding incompetence, and fighting measures that would detect and document incompetence, among teacher (for starters).

Rahm wasn't too cozy with the teacher's union either during their last strike.
