And people used to conduct themselves with more class. They would dress nicely for a flight and have a cocktail or two. Now, it's screaming, fighting and public urination.
Unless someone held him down and poured the booze down his throat against his will he's just another 19 year old getting drunk and causing a public disturbance. Being a member of the Paul family doesn't mean you get to break the rules. He's no one special. He's the grandson of a guy who ran for President. And lost.
I've never been on any "wild" flights, but I did exit a flight and immediately enter a charter bus in Mexico, on which the Mexican crew was literally trying to shovel as much booze down our throats as humanly possible.
Tell me about it. I'm the son of an airline pilot, so I've flown a lot (it was free for a long time), and I've never once encountered screaming, fighting, or urinating people while on a flight. I'm also pretty sure in the 40 years he flew (30 of it commercially), neither did my father.
Back when I was in the service we were sent to Germany a couple times. You had to be 21 to drink but can't remember if it was the airline policy or because we were military. Somehow everybody managed to partake in the festivities.
Just read the most recently linked to article. His arrest for being wasted and causing a scene in public took place before noon. That's impressive. Sounds like he's well on his way to alcoholism.
