I don't know about that. His site is often linked to, by the "Libertarians" members (Who are also often Ron Paul fans.) Hell, Jones considers himself a Libertarian.
In my opinion Conspiracy Theorist types are most often Conservative...far far right conservatives.
You can google any conspiracy theory site and it's obvious most lean conservative.
People that believe in liberty, choice, and upholding the Constitution are libertarians, whether they know it or not.
Well the data I posted was the most recent I could locate, final data for 2009, so I don't see how number of suicides exceeds number of deaths from motor vehicle accidents. It's not even close.
The show strategically selected a person who would emote the way he did to then paint all gun owners with that person's behavior.

The guy was a dupe and in no way represented the comportment of the majority of legal gun owners.
He had no media experience and no ability to communicate. His inadequacy in that regard in no way dimminishes his defense of private firearm ownership. The producers did make him an excellent fool for their cause.

There are going to be new gun regulations/prohibitions since that is what has been mandated by the U.N. through the Armed Trade Treaty (concerning international arms trading), a resolution that was voted down by the US Congress last summer. All this massacre & brouhaha will simply make it easier to get the salient details enacted a few months later. And the U.N. will revisit the treaty in mid-March of this year to reach a final agreement on the wording of the thing.
Sorry, but that is how it goes. It disgusts me but the point I take is that alot of guns are coming from the States ending up everywhere internationally. We will have to wait to see what any new proposals are asking for.

These are bullets designed for one thing, close quarter killing of human beings. American human beings. The #00 buckshot has no accuracy, but will cut a man in half at a distance of less than twenty feet. The .357 shells are lead hollow point bullets that will put a very large hole in a man from the same distance. Accuracy is up to the shooter. DHS has surely covered that.
The most troubling thing I learned from watching the videos is that suicide is now the number one cause of death in the United States.

As for Jones, he is either extremely paranoid or a modern-day P.T. Barnum. After an incendiary interview on a major network and the hoopla that ensued, it never dawns on him that there might be police officers there for his own protection. TBS, there has never been a serious attempt to deport Rupert Murdoch, Charles Krauthammer...guess they haven't run afoul of the NRA yet.

No, murder is not a choice, life is a right protected by the Constitution.
Liberals don't believe in choice, period. They believe in use of gov't force.
