Senator Diane Feinstein along with her cohorts, Mayor Bloomberg, and Barack Obama (with Joe Biden as point man) has renewed her assault on law abiding Americans right to self defense, a right which is enshrined in the Second Amendment of the Constitution. Their goal is to move quickly, while the Sandy Hook incident is fresh in the minds of Americans, who are at such times, when emotions run high, more willing to abandon reasoned debate, which is a hallmark of of Liberty, self government, and it's preservation, in favor of the tyrannical tactics of despots eager to seize control of the populace.

What Democrats like Diane Feinstein, Barack Obama, and others, wish to avoid, is debate. They understand that in the process of debate over the Second Amendment, they lose, because in debate, reason begins to supersede emotion, and the Liberty of a free people is dependent upon reasoned debate, not acting on emotions, in the moment.

The above is illustrative of the a typical leftist tactic, shift the focus to something that people will have an emotional attachment to, "the children." But statements such as this warn of something more sinister. These people are willing to give up Liberty (your Liberty) for the sake of "the children."
This is a deception. Surely, what is better for "the children" would be the preservation of their Liberty, just as Liberty has been passed down through generations to us. This shows that the left is more interested in power.
Deception is a tool the left uses to bolster their standing in the eyes of an uninformed citizenry. Feinstein became involved with the Million Mom March, which was shut down because of illegal political activity. But, the movement was deceptively claiming that twelve "children" per day were killed as the result of gun violence (or accident). We must not let the gun-control advocates frame the debate. We cannot allow the argument to be about guns. It is about the right of the people to be secure in their person, and property. It is about Liberty, and it's preservation. The facts are in our favor. Guns are not the problem.
It is plainly clear that had at least one teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary been armed, many, if not all lives would have been saved. Therefore, the issue is not the availability of guns, but the foolishness of "gun free zones" and the danger to the Liberty of a free people that the gun-control advocates present.
Gun owners should all agree to never register and never vote to convict if asked to serve on a jury.
What would never voting to convict (a killer) have to do with this issue? It would serve no purpose, and would certainly not serve the public interest, nor would it be right. It is the duty of any citizen selected to serve on a jury to render a verdict based on the facts and evidence presented in a case. It has nothing to do with any opinion they may have on guns, gun control, or the Second Amendment.
Or, are you suggesting that because gun owners support the Second Amendment, they are too biased to render a just verdict?
I would simply suggest to you that you do some study of the Constitution to discover why the Founders thought it important to protect the right of an individual to self-defense. As I have said elsewhere, the Second Amendment does not grant the right to bear arms; rather, it protects a right that the Founders believed was as unalienable as the right to life.
Obama made zero attempts towards gun control in the last 4 years, looks like he's taking his sweet time in confiscating all the guns.
