How are mandatory background checks criminalizing private sales? For people who claim to have nothing to hide, y'all act like you have something to hide.
Oh... then by that logic we should remove the 5th Amendment and get rid of Miranda rights.
If you don't have anything to hide you shouldn't need a lawyer or stay silent. Right?

I've never heard such asinine arguments...
Says the guy with worst analogy, literally ever.
A felony record/conviction strips you of certain rights, including the right to vote. it should, in theory, strip you of your right to walk into a gun show and arm yourself to the teeth. If you have a clean record, you should have nothing to worry about.

And once again. How exactly will this stop criminals from being and selling guns???
Exactly... You know this would do absolutely nothing... But you persist.
In order to put whatever restrictions or limitation being considered into perspective, consider also applying those very same restrictions and limitation on our other constitutionally protected inherent individual rights.
Does anyone really think that it is "reasonable" to restrict or limit what the "mentally incompetent" can say, who they can worship, or those with whom they wish to associate?
If the restriction or limitation cannot be applied to every constitutionally protected inherent individual right, then it should not be applied to any.
It has already been established that no inherent right is absolute. No one has the inherent right to harm another, either financially or physically. That is why tort laws, and laws against physical violence exist in the first place.
When someone abuses their inherent rights, do we seek to restrict or limit that right, or do we punish the abuser?
There is only one difference between the Second Amendment, and all the other amendments in the Bill of Rights. Only the Second Amendment can ensure that the other constitutionally protected inherent individual rights remain protected.

Can't stop everything, therefore stop nothing. Nice philosophy. No wonder the GOP is so damn obstructionist. It's all about maintaining the status quo.
My gun has killed less people than Ted Kennedy's car has.
When you have nothing else to offer, resort to stupidity.
Good job!
