What happen to the list of all of those receiving welfare & food stamps?
This would seem to be a good reason to not register a gun.
Considering how many times this has been posted on C-D I'm not sure who is worst, the folks who first compiled the list or those, like yourself, who keep spreading the news of where to find it.

The question is so what so they own guns so what? Are gun owners suppose to be the new evil now that they must be posted in the media as in "LOOK! LOOK! A EVIL GUN OWNER!" What are the media hoping to accomplish by this? They are hoping to harass gun owners that is what.
Anti gunners are true hypocrites and bottom feeders, they say to win a election " take your tinfoil hat off, nobody is coming for them" but after the election they show their true thoughts and intentions AND DO come after them. Sorry, lieing &*$%^#$'s is what they are.
You are correct. It's already happend in isolated instances (my investor/landlord adjacent property owner made a 911 call which mobilized SWAT the day I brought home a new shotgun and she happened to be next door inspecting her rental).
One of the local free papers went on an anti-hunter/gun campaign a couple years ago which finally fizzled out.
A MD anti-gun organization published a list of all handgun owners (in MD all are registered since a person has to have State Police approval to purchase one) several years ago.
What the NY paper did wasn't breaking any new ground.
It is pretty obvious that when a media outlit goes out of its way to post a list of gunowners their intention is to harrass them and portray them as a fringe of supposed uncivilized society. It is obvious that there is a propaganda war on right now against gun owners. It is obvious that while they expect pro gunners to submit to compromise, on the anti gunners side they see no need to compromise, so screw them....
Lets post a list of names addresses of all affiliated to communist party , or single moms with 6 kids on welfare, or Muslims, and SEE HOW FAST the media calls it sickening and racist to do so and how FAST the ACLU gets involved. I don't advocate doing so but just saying.........
Well it does not really affect gun owners. Everyone should be a gun owner anyway. But I think that it does help the criminal element.
