Where are there republicans on the West Coast? I want to know WHERE, not if. They're there, just rare. I want to know where.

There are Republicans pretty much everywhere. Are you asking where they are a majority? I knew a lot of R's in the San Gabriel Valley, but they aren't the majority. I also know quite a few in the Seattle area - another "liberal" place.

I'm sorry it matters so much, but I guess some people need to feel that they are in the majority.

Simple answer would be "San Diego" but there really isn't any simple answer.
The question is too simplistic.

San Diego is about 50/50. Orange County more conservative. Eastern Washington, Idaho and Utah. Arizona.

Didn't you just ask this question in the previous thread? My money would be Salt Lake City or Boise.

Not to mention it isn't as true anymore. San Diego County voted for President Obama this election.

I think the closest you are going to get is Orange County,CA, and even that is starting to drop. If you are looking for a Republican city in any of the West Coast states, the best I can give you is Anchorage,AK or one of the inland cities.

Inland valleys of California, Central valley, San Joaquin valley, San Bernadino. In California the coast leans liberal and the central and mountain regions lean conservative. Of course all areas are mixed, but we're just talking majority of folks here. My question, you're actually going to base where you live on the politics of an area? Not on things like cost-of-living, climate, proximity to your work, recreational opportunities, urban vs. rural, etc?
