You need a license to carry too. Everything you're listing is not ownership of an object but the use of it in public.

That's racist!!!

I don't believe the NRA does oppose background checks? You're mixing up two topics which is really throwing your argument off.

All I'll say is this. Waiting periods are stupid.

I don't have a problem with that. and frankly I don't know why anyone would be against showing valid ID to vote at the polls. if you are a legit US citizen you wont have any problem getting a valid ID.

if you don't have your ID or you lost it then you can simply vote by absentee mail which does not require it.

Do you need a license to park your car in your garage and never take it on the streets? NOPE.. If you have a firearm in your house, you don't need a license... To carry a firearm on the street you need a license... It's called a CHL.. Concealed Handgun "License"...

Dude, that happens probably somewhere in the U.S. every day given that for every firearm-related fatality there are two non-fatal firearm-related injuries.

You need to take things into perspective.

The whole Brady bill is stupid to begin with. A criminal buying guns was already a crime. Instead of getting tough on the criminals, they decided to get tough on every citizen but when a criminal attempted to buy a gun, they don't do crap. Nice!!!

Since it's stupid, NRA fought against it. As a compromise to mass stupidity, NRA proposed NCIS. In the end, NRA lost its cause of preventing your right from encroachment and you don't even appreciate their effort.
