Even if they did, they would still throw the book at illegal immigrants from the US or elsewhere who did the same thing. The US isn't any easier on Canadians who get caught with undeclared firearms at the border, either.
As it's unmerciful to those who procure cheap prescription drugs. But I have no qualms breaking certain laws. People need cheap drugs to get better, I don't care what the government says. People need guns to defend themselves. In both cases I'll be happy to circumvent unjust laws.

I don't consider most of those 386 people to be murdered. Rather just justice. If someone murders your friend, it's better to kill him than have him rot away in jail. Detroiters have honor. Canadians have their police.

Look at the number of murder victims in Detroit under the age of 5, or who were hit by stray rounds, or who died in robberies. If that's "justice," then I choose injustice.

I can tell you very few. Maybe only a couple of people under 5 are shot or murdered, especially through stray fire. It makes the news everytime it happened. In fact it happened near my house when a fight broke out over a basketball game and someone missed, hitting a little girl. I think she might have been over 5. Tragic, but the guy who missed was shot dead. That's justice.
The vast majority of murder victims under 5 are from parents shaking their babies. I'm not sure if this is counted as murder or not.
