During the last election and long before, have you taken notice by Hollywood/Media equating Republicans as Square and out of touch and how many bought this crap on election day?

We are doomed!

I don't think that is the GOPs problem. The GOP is very media savvy and have been at least since Reagan. The problem is their agenda is increasingly being seen as extreme by a larger and larger segment of society.

There is a demographic swing, no doubt. But there is a bias, it seems, from those on our televison screen and the word "extreme" has fundamentally been altered by those on the left who do not agree with their agenda (age-old argument, but true).

I think looking square is the least of the public image problems for Republicans.

The only bias on in information these days is the kind people create for themselves. People have plenty of access to conservative media such as Fox on TV, Rush on the radio, and Alex Jones on the internet. They also have access to liberal sources, but as I said the right is media savvy. It is simply a matter of the right getting more and more out of the mainstream and as such the GOP needs to moderate its positions or it will continue to lose in the free market of politics.

GOP is stupid for insulting Blacks, Hispanics, women, and working class people. It's their fault they have a negative image.

When you call 47% of the US lazy leeches, you get what you deserve.

Schadenfreude!!!

Some look square, but most are actually round...or whatever shape you call Karl Rove.

That's IT! Voters think they've been trapped in The Matrix with no way out when they enter a voting machine. The only way they can escape is to vote for the Dems because Obama is a black guy like whats-his-name in the movie.

I knew someone on the CD Politics forum would come up with an answer.

Give the OP the "Most Informative Poster" award!

So if the majority of the voting public believe in liberal ideology and vote accordingly its because they've somehow been altered by a biased media..Had Romney won wouldnt the same logic apply to his supporters?

It is true that if Obama were white, he would of lost the election (i.e. Carter). It is also ill-conceived that the term "mainstream" as in ABC, CNN, CBS, NBC, is the way to the real truth when in fact, it is not...these days, only C-Span ( a limited source) carries the truth, which is tucked away where you can not or will not watch.

It is..Obama can sing like Al Green, therefore, I am voting for him! We are doomed...
