Its much better than lamestream hysteria which passes for 'news' in america right now.
Good thread
no its not its more or less the same exact thing, my problem with statements like this is that your willing to give praise to anything non american. If it was American ud call it "lame stream" since its arab and therefor cool you say its much better
In my experience AL Jazeera hasn't been so bad. I do know of 1 story of misreporting though i cant prove it unless you read a book. In the book "Son Of Hamas" He claims Al Jazeera was reporting about Israel bombing a refugee camp in Gaza, using edited footage. The whole footage which he claims Al Jazeera did have shows that a palestinian had rockets in his truck that blew up. If yo want to read the book (good book) you'll find it in there, or you'll take my word for it or assume im lying.
Rivera said he interviewed the guy and he said he told him he killed the little 4 year old and the father. If people have a problem with that then take it to Rivera. Some will never believe that terrorists can do that though.

Al Jazeera is fine. It's a pretty straightforward no-nonsense Middle East-centric news source in the mold of CNN, but the only catch is that one shouldn't expect them to say nice things about Israel very often. They certainly don't go out of their way to rip into it, but they don't report as positively about the country as many US news publications do.
