My business income is my personal income. I feel that as a small business owner, I should be taxed less. I don't collect a paycheck from anyone. I earn what I sell. I don't make a lot, but I guarantee I work much harder than those who make a lot more. We talk about helping small business in this country a lot but don't do enough to throw small business owners a bone.
I'll admit now that this is not a sincere question, and was posted to get at a (sorta) related issue:
If business income should not be taxed at a higher rate than wage and salary income, why is rental property taxed at a higher rate than owner-occupied homes on many states?
