Another Jackson has bitten the dust. Alderman Sandi Jackson (not "Santi" as I misspelled in the title), wife of recently resigned U.S. Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., submitted her resignation from Chicago's City Council ... effective Tuesday. Federal indictments of both may follow soon.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Jesse Jackson, Jr. feigned a "nervous breakdown" and "bi-polar disorder" in an attempt to avoid being dragged through the public square after being told that he was being investigated for corruption. It's as obvious as the grass is green that he was hiding behind the guise of mental health distress. No question about it. His daddy taught him how to be a huckster. Like father, like son. Two worthless human beings at the very core.
Now, his worthless wife is running from something. No doubt she's got an albatross a mile wide around her neck. We'll find out very soon how the voters of Chicago have been swindled once again by one of America's mose vile, racist, and corrupt families.
The feds, not wanting to cause a big uproar are dealing with the Jacksons quietly.
Resignations and then some brief admission of guilt etc.
No big embarassing perp-walk and media circus for them.
Her hubby was VERY lucky some anonymous source leaked the FBI's investigation of the sale of Obama's Senate seat to the press. They only netted Blagovich as a result but Jackson was one of the leading "bidders" at the time. Would have been a super embarassing situation for a prominent US family.
It would also be embarassing for some other politicians....

Maybe she's involved with her husband's dealings which are under investigation.
He paid her hundreds of thousands out of campaign funds as an "advisor".
Don't worry though, he will get the kids gloves from the feds.
