If you mean the OP, it was a collection of carefully collected deviations from the party line which upset a liberal who is used to hearing the same comforting propaganda day after day and is so ticked off that NPR may be saying hello to balance just as it should be saying goodbye to public financing.

NPR may not be perfect , may be , in some areas gone array , but it is the only game in town. Personalities , like Diane Reems , are still hard to beat....... for my entertainment I tune in Sirius Radio channel 146 during the week. Week-ends , its NPR. Garrison Keeler is always entertaining. Wait-Wait Don't tell Me , also.
The answer to just turning off what you don't like , is , sat. radio , its changing how we listen to the Radio , thats a good thing.

Explain how you believe NPR has "a liberal bias." In my mind the only propaganda blaring over the airwaves is on the AM currents, and it is incessant and nearly uniform.

How Public Is Public Radio?

saltine - and which NPR affiliate was this? And how long was this Chinese music special, an hour or so? Did you honestly expect them to play Souza marches all day?

(you do realize that local affiliates have different programming).

Liberal bias exists in the choice of stories to be covered as well as the opinions expressed.

NPR is all about abortions, lawsuits, Abu Ghraib ad nauseum, and how many Americans died anywhere at any time for any reason.

Reported by smarmy little feminists with a hard on for hatred.

Yes, that's true. I'm not a liberal sheep, lapping up the lies of the leftwing media and driving around in a Volvo covered with faded bumper stickers.
