If they're really interested in saving the planet, why don't they make more fuel efficient tires that require less (or zero) oil to make? Why did they kill the electric car in the 60's, 70's and 80's? Why is it that every major car company has now created vehicles that run on hydrogen but are not allowed to put the vehicles on the market?
How did we exit the last 5 ice age's if there were no humans to cause the earth to warm up? I heard somewhere that the sun was somewhat warm but I think it's bull**** right-wing garbage.
We have exactly the same amount of water on the planet today as we had a few million years ago when the planet was first formed. All of our water is recycled, the glass you drank this morning was pizzed by a dinosaur a million years ago.
Water isn't going anywhere, unless obama signs an executive order...
Now with 7 billion people all needed vast amounts of it. So your point is not a real point at all.

Transfer of fresh water from lakes to oceans would be a bad thing.
Now with 7 billion people all needed vast amounts of it. So your point is not a real point at all.
And neither of you argued his statement, that is true, and instead brought up human population. If you think this planet can only sustain a few billion, you're nuts.

The planet could sustain a high amount, but would they be happy?

His point is correct. Water is recycled, the water you drink is millions of years old. 7 billion people drink it, urinate, evaporate, condense, you then redrink, die, dehydrate, evaporation, condense, your kids drink you.

Rep for the unfortunately necessary 3rd grade explanation.

actually they already do.

perhaps because the populace at large doesnt want them. they have limited range and long recharge times.

who says hydrogen powered vehicles are not allowed to be sold? no one has them on the market because there is NO infrastructure to handle them.
